I started painting in 2020, when the pandemic hit and my plans for moving overseas to do neuroscience research had been completely ruined. Initially out of pure boredom, painting gave me a stillness and connection with a higher being, something that I had sought throughout the frantic years of looking for answers in textbooks and other people's opinions. I began to realize that exploring myself and the unknown through artistic expression had taught and guided me more than I had expected. I may not know much but one thing I do is know is the power of art to transform lives. I am just one part of this great movement in modern thinking.
